MBT Practitioner Training
Description:
This is a 2 day online learning event led by experienced MBT tutors accredited by the Anna Freud Centre. It will cover a variety of theoretical and practical topics and consist of didactic materials and role-plays. It will provide learners with more knowledge and skills to improve the treatment of patients with a diagnosis of personality disorder. It builds on the foundation provided by the MBT Basic Course.
Target Audience:
Mental health professionals working with patients with a diagnosis of personality disorder who have already completed MBT Basic and are able to access (or are already in) MBT Supervision from an MBT Supervisor or Supervisor-in-training.
Learning Outcome:
To increase participants’ understanding of personality disorder and improve their confidence and abilities to use the suite of therapeutic interventions for patients with a diagnosis of personality disorder which they have learnt previously on the MBT Basic course. It is the second level to embark on becoming a qualified MBT Practitioner.
